Yaaay I finally have a blog! Its something that has been on my to do list for a while! Well ever since I started shooting weddings actually. There is something about a wedding story that refuses to be condensed into 10-15 facebook sized images, and I am certainly not that disciplined! There is just too much awesomeness :D So here we are, blog post #1!
I will begin by posting a few of my FAV weddings from last season, and then you can all look forward to some super gorgeous Baby Photography goodness, and possibly some Family Portraits, and even the odd few engagement photos :)
Courtney and Aaron got married in February, and what can I say!!? (I am sure the images speak for themselves but I will say anyway!) what a chilled out amaaaaaazing couple!
It was such a pleasure spending the day with their wonderful friends and family, not to mention their 2 gorgeous boys! :D
Kingston decided he was going to catch some fish for everybody’s lunch!
And then it was off to see what Aaron and the boys were up to…
And then it was back to the girls again because it was time to get into the dress!……
Courtney was always adamant that she would NOT be good in front of the camera (and during their engagement photos she couldn’t stop laughing!)
but she was obviously saving her photo-mojo for the wedding day, coz WOW :)
And then it was time for the reception, which was at the Beach Bar in Sumner. And wow what a great venue, and incredible atmosphere. It made for a wonderfully relaxed, and fun reception.
Speeches had everyone in fits, and I think even a few tears!
And after all the dancing and carrying on I snuck these two away for a last couple of shots. I LOVE doing this, and they are often my favourite shots of the day. This was no exception! :)
